Based on his book, Examined Lives, Miller will offer insight into the lives and works of philosophers from Socrates to Nietzsche. In doing so, he provides evidence of their own conflicts with living their beliefs while also making clear their impact on the intellectual world. Free and open to the public, the lecture is presented as part of Rhodes’ Communities in Conversation Series.
