Congressman Steve Cohen is hosting the occasion with artist and humanitarian Harry Belafonte who has been actively involved with civil and human rights entities for decades. Belafonte will share his memories of Dr. King and will address issues of importance to the Ninth Congressional District.

The Town Hall dialogue will include topics of youth incarceration, criminal justice, and the importance of non-violent actions as a tactic to change public policy. The event is intended to be multi-generational and to include conversations about where we have been, where we are now, and where we are going.
