| Dr. Paul Kottman's lecture on "As You Like It" is generously supported through a bequest from Dr. Iris Annette Pearce; further support comes from the Department of Political Science.
Kottman, Assistant Professor of English at the New School for Liberal Arts (NYC), is the author of two books on Shakespeare, including the recently published A Politics of the Scene (Stanford 2008). He is also the editor of Philosophers on Shakespeare (JHU, forthcoming), translator of two volumes by the Italian philosopher Adriana Cavarero, and author of essays in numerous literary and philosophical journals.
