Dr. Jackson Bryer, professor emeritus of the University of Maryland, will present "The Greatness of Gatsby." Free and open to the public, the lecture begins at 6:30 p.m. in Blount Auditorium of Buckman Hall. At the University of Maryland, Bryer taught undergraduate and graduate courses in American literature, modern drama, and American drama for four decades. He is the co-founder and president of the F. Scott Fitzgerald Society and editor of the recently published volume, Approaches to Teaching The Great Gatsby. |
