Free and open to the public, the event will begin at 3 p.m. in the BCLC Ballroom. It will feature student religious and multicultural groups, along with leaders from different faith communities in Memphis, who will lead the prayers and celebrations. Diversity Memphis is a cosponsor of this year’s Prayers for Peace which was founded in 2001. Dr. William Skoog is conductor. Titled "A Concert for Peace," the performance includes Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Dona Nobis Pacem" and Leonard Bernstein's "Chichester Psalms."
